Title: Learning Specialist/Trainer I
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Cambridge, MA- Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week
Pay Range: $40/hr – $47/hr
Manager Notes:
- Position is Hybrid, onsite 3 days per wee.
- Must have Skills: Minimum of 2 years, previous Training or Learning Specialist experience. More year of experience welcomed Pharma/ biotech industry a plus, however open to all sectors.
- Bachelor s degree or more, accepting MS and PHD candidates
- Experience with E – Learning tools, such as: E Learn / LMS platform, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Camtasia, not all are required however combination of experience and fluency in most listed.
- Similar experience accepted
- Previous experience with training for onboarding.
- Presentation experience, ability to present information to internal team, on projects and present tools to other teams.
Core mission:
- Harmonize and standardize existing BO training materials for our stakeholders.
- Transform presentation content into automatic, engaging, interactive learning experience.
- Introduce quizzes, assessments and learner feedback loops.
- Help to define a scalable training framework.
1) Content Harmonization & Standardization
- Review, audit and consolidate large volumes of existing training materials into a unified curriculum
- Apply standardized templates, branding and formatting across all training assets
- Ensure consistency in tone, structure and instructional design approach
- Create reusable content components
- Develop and document a scalable training framework/playbook
2) Instructional Design & Learning Strategy
- Design detailed instructions to support long-term training
- Structure, simplify, and synthesize complex content
Define:
- Clear learning objectives
- Modular training programs
- End-to-end learning paths
- Create training support respecting adult learning principles
- Provide constructive challenges and recommendations to improve content quality and relevance
3) Interactive Learning Design
- Design and deliver engaging, learner-centric training experiences using interactive methodologies
- Build quizzes, knowledge checks, questionnaires, and formal assessments aligned to learning outcomes
- Develop scenario-based and interactive modules to enhance retention and application
- Optimize content for usability, accessibility, and learner engagement
- Incorporate feedback loops and iterative improvements to maximize effectiveness
Must have:
1) E-Learning Development & Tools
- Tool environment: E Learn / LMS platform, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Camtasia
- Expected deliverables with quizzes, assessments, and tracking mechanisms
2) Language & Work Environment
- English-speaking, international environment
