Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12s | Every Other Weekend
Pay Rate: $50/hr – $55/hr – W2
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the ICU Float Pool at a leading hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple critical care units including MICU, SICU, and CVICU. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, reporting any significant changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient and family education
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Ensure infection prevention and patient safety standards are followed
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Diploma in Nursing
- Strong ICU experience required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to float between ICU units as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
Schedule Details
- 36 Hours/Week
- 12 Hour Night Shifts
- Every Other Weekend Required
- ICU Float Pool Assignment (MICU/SICU/CVICU)
