Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist Float)

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Shift: Eastern Standard Time (EST), 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, including weekends
Duration: 5+ Months

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Phlebotomist Float with strong leadership and customer service skills to provide specimen collection services across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent patient care, perform accurate blood draws, and ensure compliance with established procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections.
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen labeling.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience.
• Travel between multiple sites as needed and maintain punctuality.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (required).
• Leadership experience and strong customer service skills.
• Experience in Patient Service Centers preferred.
• Medical Assistant, Paramedic training, or Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required.
• Flexible to work weekends, overtime, and cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement available for travel between assigned locations.
• Float staff are expected to cover multiple sites based on business needs.
