Floating: Required to float to units with equal or lower acuity as needed.
Job Summary
Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, document, and educate patients and their families. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and participates in resolving variances from patient care goals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) experience
- Current Michigan (MI) RN License
- BLS certification (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of surgical floor experience

- Ability to develop and implement effective nursing care plans
- Experience providing a wide range of professional nursing services
