Job Title: Patient Services Representative Clinic
Location: Edmond, OK 73013

Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments via phone and in person.
- Register new patients and update patient demographics.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls.
- Prepare and maintain provider schedules.
- Coordinate appointments requiring multiple services.
- Greet and check patients in and out for appointments.
- Collect patient payments and issue receipts.
- Balance and close the daily cash box.
- Prepare encounter forms, billing packets, and daily deposits.
- Code procedures and diagnoses.
- Verify provider signatures and documentation.
- Copy insurance cards and process patient paperwork.
- Prepare ancillary service forms (X-rays, vascular services, etc.).
- Print and fax physician schedules.
- Maintain patient charts and medical records.
- Request, file, retrieve, and organize medical records.
- Prepare new patient charts and inactive chart storage.
- Verify insurance eligibility and primary care providers.
- Obtain referrals and prior authorizations.
- Discuss financial accounts and sliding fee eligibility with patients.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate reordering.
- Prepare physician correspondence and immunization cards.
- Sort, distribute, and log incoming mail.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and patients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional work experience.
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Professional front office, patient-facing experience required.
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Patient registration experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- No license or certification required.
