Position: Neurodiagnostic Tech Level 1

Shift: Day Shift | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule: 5×8 | 8 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $40-$44/hr.

  • EMU
  • ICU
  • Pediatric patients
  • Adult patients
• Provides technical assistance and training to students.
• Supports the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
• Manager will be reviewing resumes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of Neurodiagnostic experience.
• Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience.

Required Skills

• EEG Technician
• Neurodiagnostic Technology
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Natus systems.
• Familiarity with Nihon Kohden systems.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS HCP) Certification.
• Eligible for ABRET registration.

Education

Required

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.

Preferred

• Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision according to established standards and practices.
• Provide technical assistance and training to students.
• Complete all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures.
• Support all functions, goals, and objectives of the department.
• Assist in the development of new programs involving the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
