Job Title: RN – Urology
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: 8:00A – 4:00P
Hourly rate: $52/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Position Summary:
- Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory urology setting.
- Assess, evaluate, and manage patients using clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Prioritize patient care based on clinical needs.
- Identify and escalate potential patient safety concerns or care gaps.
- Document nursing care accurately using the organization’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Support quality improvement and performance initiatives through accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Active RN license (as required by the state/facility).
- Minimum 2 years of Urology nursing experience.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience.
- Ambulatory (outpatient) nursing experience.
- Prostate procedure experience (required).
- English proficiency (Speak, Read, and Write).
