Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Loal Pay: $53/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: $3495.13/ Weekly (Blended) – 70 hrs.
Shift: Night Shift | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (Variable Schedule)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform complex laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnosis and patient care. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality laboratory operations while maintaining compliance with established protocols and quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, serology, and blood bank procedures.
- Analyze patient specimens accurately and report test results promptly according to laboratory standards.
- Troubleshoot laboratory instruments, equipment, reagents, and specimen-related issues to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Perform quality control, instrument maintenance, calibration, and documentation to meet regulatory and laboratory requirements.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, organize work areas, and support efficient daily laboratory operations.
- Assist with staff training, policy compliance, and other laboratory responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of Medical Laboratory Scientist acute care experience required.
- MT(ASCP) or CLS(ASCP) certificate is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Flexibility to work a 7-on / 7-off night shift schedule.
