Pay Rate: #30/Hr to $33.23/ hr

- Demonstrated understanding of erosion and sediment control principles and stormwater management proctices, including implemenation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirements.’
- Ability to interpret environmental regulations, permits, and planning documents, applying requirements to company operations and translating regulatory obligations into practical complaince guidance.’
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and permit requirements across multiple media programs, with the ability to evaluate and ensure compliance within a broad environmental Product.

Understanding of other environmental regulations and requirements like Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC), National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Hazardous Waste and Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), Superfund and Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC). - Other license/certifications: CESSWI, HAZWOPER 40, Certified Hazardous Materials Handler, International Society of Arborists, Lead/Asbestos, Pesticides
- Experience working within a team
- High Level Project Overview:
Ensures company compliance with environmental, chemical, waste management, and permit regulations at various locations and project construction sites associated with the client’s Electric Transmission operational teams. - Share responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of work sites, to comply with regulatory and company Environmental, Health and Safety standards and procedures. Communicate and prepare reports for submittal internally, externally, to governmental agencies and customers.
- Support other contracted staff, inspect, or assess, and provide recommendations regarding environmental compliance issues to personnel responsible for compliance tasks and management.
- Provide environmental training to site personnel in handling of chemicals and waste materials, spill prevention, erosion, and sediment control and other environmental compliance topics and requirements.
Preferred Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience hands on in environmental field work handling work for projects related to environmental requirements for environmental Product and permits
Required Education:
- 4yr degree, Bachelors in an Environmental discipline
