Summary
- Support production line installation activities through procurement of services, equipment, and parts
- Design simple fixtures, assemblies, and stands
- Interface with third-party contractors
- Apply scientific and technological principles in mechanics, hydraulics, and machine design to support the design, production, operation, and use of machinery of all types
Skill Requirements
- Understanding and application of standard mechanical engineering methodologies, with general knowledge of related disciplines
- Ability to read blueprints and part drawings, with familiarity in CAD
- Provide technical solutions to a wide range of installation problems
- Work under minimal direction, supporting a Lead Engineer while independently determining and developing solution approaches
- Frequent inter-organizational and external interactions
- Represent the organization professionally
- Build and maintain strong working relationships outside the immediate work group
Education / Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma + 7 years of manufacturing experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 3 years of experience
