Job Title: IT Technician – Shipping/Receiving
Onsite : Twinsburg OH
Duration :6 months with extension
Position Summary
The IT Technician utilizes the inventory system to process orders. The IT Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying all IT hardware.
Individuals are responsible for unpacking, picking, packaging, and shipping IT hardware to stores and field service technicians. This position requires constant walking and standing, with frequent lifting of less than 50 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs with assistance.
Responsibilities
Ship IT hardware according to scheduled deadlines.
Receive and store equipment.
Unpack, pick, package, and ship IT hardware to stores and field service technicians via UPS using service orders and/or verbal instructions.
Ensure shipped and returned equipment is processed accurately.
Accurately record product serial numbers.
Maintain work areas in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
Utilize the inventory system to process orders and manage hardware inventory.
Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months of work experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
Frequent bending, reaching, and standing.
Constant walking and standing.
Constant lifting of less than 30 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs with assistance.
Computer experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
