Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join a busy Cardiology Department in Atlanta, GA. This is a 14-week contract opportunity supporting patients across multiple specialty clinics, including Pulmonary services. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and the flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
• Perform patient assessments, collect vital signs, and document clinical information accurately.
• Assist physicians during examinations and clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.

Float Requirements

This position supports the Cardiology and Pulmonary cohort and may float between the following locations as operational needs require:

• Glenlake
• TownPark
• Cumberland (CU)
• Gwinnett
• Southwood
• CA
• PA

Qualifications

• Current Georgia LPN/LVN License in good standing.
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Previous outpatient clinic, cardiology, pulmonary, or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple clinic environments.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
