*** is seeking a Manufacturing Scientist to join our dynamic team. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or equivalent. The successful candidate must possess general chemical laboratory skills, with experience in bioconjugation chemistry.
What will you do?
•Produce and analyze fluorescent protein-based products to meet customer requirements and timelines.
•Use HPLC, FPLC and gravimetric separation techniques to purify and analyze fluorescent dye labeled antibodies and other biomolecules.
•Analyze and interpret scientific data. Utilize specialized technical knowledge and skills.
•Maintain professional communication with representatives from other departments and teams as required.
•Work to achieve department goals and business objectives for safety, quality, and timely completion of work.
Education:
•Minimum of BS/BA Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related subject area.
Experience:
•Proficient in general chemical and biological laboratory techniques and procedures such as antibody handling purification, pipetting, UV-vis spectroscopy and safe handling of biological materials and chemical.
•Experience in one bioconjugation chemistry is a plus.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
•Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
•Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
The position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights about 20 pounds, occasionally.
