Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: San Antonio, TX 78258
Shift:
Client hours including every other weekend.
Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience. Do not submit candidates who do not meet this requirement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Client Nurse Practitioners will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidenced-based care to a panel of patients.
- The clinical care team will work with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for entire panel of patients.
- This will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
- This role will report to the practice manager.
- -Include screenshot of BLS and license. (BLS from ARC or AHA is required.)
Experience:
- A MINIMUM of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine, primary care practice, or urgent care required.
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions
- Self- motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for their patients and their practice
Education:
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
