Job Summary
The Training & Development Specialist II is a mid-level Learning & Development professional responsible for assessing training needs, designing and developing learning programs, and delivering training sessions. This role partners with managers and functional leaders to identify capability gaps, develop effective learning solutions, and support employee development and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess training and development needs by analyzing business requirements, employee performance, and competency gaps.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and generate insights that support employee engagement and business performance.
- Design and develop training courses, learning programs, and supporting materials using established L&D methodologies and delivery channels.
- Create engaging learning content and resources that support learning objectives and desired outcomes.
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions, courses, and other learning activities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and learner achievement aProductst intended learning outcomes.
- Partner with managers and functional leaders to understand short-term and long-term Learning & Development priorities.
- Gather and analyze performance and competency data to identify development gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
- Support the development and implementation of employee development programs, assessment centers, feedback processes, and development planning tools.
- Tailor existing assessment exercises, learning materials, and development tools to meet business requirements.
- Prepare training documentation, reports, presentations, and other complex business documents.
- Collect, organize, and summarize data for special reports and L&D initiatives.
- Respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders regarding training processes, policies, and procedures.
- Support assessors and facilitators by providing training, guidance, and development resources.
- Stay current with L&D technology, industry practices, regulations, and emerging training methodologies through professional development and continuing education.
