Job Description:
Job Summary:

• Seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis.
• The Mechatronics Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems.
• This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
• The position will involve travel between our Boston and Hopkinton sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and test mechatronic systems and components
• Develop control systems and algorithms for automated equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing mechatronic systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
• Document designs, processes, and test results

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer
• Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and control system design
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
