Title: QIC Part A Nurse Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Shift time: Hours; 8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST (Monday – Friday)
Pay rate: 30.00/hr

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Responsible for reviewing Medicare Part A West unfavorable and partially unfavorable determinations in accordance with applicable regulations.

– Render medical necessity determinations for assigned cases.

– Resolve all other technical issues for assigned cases.

– Review cases to determine and summarize the facts of each case assigned.

– Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience consulting within designated function.
– REGISTERED NURSE

– Hospice experience a plus

– Experience reading and interpreting medical records, especially for hospitals and nursing homes

– Strong writing skills
