Job Title: RN – LDRP
Location: Brockton, MA
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: 7a-7p (48 hours per week)
Hourly rate: $77/ hour on W2 Negotiable
Role & Responsibilities
- Patient Population: Provides direct nursing care across all age groups (newborns to geriatrics) following MA regulations.
- Core Duties: Patient assessment, care planning, medication/IV administration, physician reporting, and documentation.
- Leadership: Operates independently, guides LPNs/support staff, and assumes additional duties when the Nurse Manager is absent.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Open Shift: Hiring 1 AM shift to replace a departing worker at the end of November.
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling allowed (unit needs prevail; even shift switches approved).
- Restrictions: No RTO allowed during summer prime vacation (through 9/15/25). No travel pairs.
Mandatory Requirements
- L&D Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) experience.
- Mother/Baby & Newborn: Mother-Baby care (via floating or LDRP setting) and immediate newborn care (meds, measurements, assessment).
- OR & Floating: Circulating C-sections required (RN takes patients to the unit’s dedicated OR; no floating to Main OR).
- Leadership Roles: Willingness to act as Charge Nurse or Preceptor.
Key Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- System: Meditech experience (preferred).
- Clinical Skills: Scrubbing C-sections (preferred).
- Languages: Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole (preferred).
