HH Patient Service Coord I
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Location: Fort Worth, TX

Travel: Occasional travel to a nearby Medical Center, approximately 2–3 minutes away.
Job Summary
Manage patient accounts to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of durable medical equipment (DME), supplies, and services. Provide product information to customers, coordinate supply orders, and act as a liaison between customers and the company. Process patient reimbursement information and coordinate documentation to ensure clean insurance claims.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the customer contact for pricing, supply reorders, and shipping inquiries.
Provide records to the billing department for insurance claim submission.
Submit prior authorization paperwork to Medicaid and managed care organizations.
Process incoming referrals and coordinate the delivery of supplies.
Maintain knowledge of third-party payer regulations and requirements.
Notify appropriate departments when referrals do not meet financial acceptance criteria.
Monitor and maintain accurate data across computer systems.
Prepare daily patient supply tickets before delivery of DME, medications, and supplies.
Resolve routine product or service issues and escalate when necessary.
Track customer complaints and incomplete orders.
Verify insurance coverage monthly and update the database.
Obtain benefit eligibility information and prior authorizations from third-party payers.
Log prior authorizations for patients starting services.
Review and maintain logs of Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN).
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
4–6 months of clerical experience.
Ability to multitask in a high-call-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology.
