Job Title: RN – Neuro Surg
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: 9:00A – 4:00P
Hourly rate: $52/ hour on W2 Negotiable
Job Summary
- Provides safe, competent, and high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
- Applies evidence-based nursing practices, clinical judgment, and the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU, Medical-Surgical, or Neurosurgical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro Surgery Outpatient experience — mandatory.
- EPIC experience.
Unit Details
- Department: Neuro Surgical Unit
- Unit Capacity: 13 beds
- Average Census: 4–6 patients
- Staffing Ratio: 1:6
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays
