Job Description:
- The Phlebotomist III – Floater serves as a key point of contact for patients, supporting routine care and important health-related decisions.
- This role involves collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures.
- The position requires direct patient interaction and the ability to perform blood draws safely, accurately, and professionally while building patient trust.
- Coverage is provided across multiple locations and service areas, including Patient Service Centers, In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP), mobile services, and Long-Term Care.
- Candidates must be able to lead on site and support onboarding for new clients and employees.
- The role may also support complex, high-volume operations and requires strong communication and collaboration with teams such as Sales, Lab Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred and required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
- Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
- Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
