Position: Nurse Supervisor/ADON

Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5 x 7.5-Hour Shifts | 37.5 Hours/Week
Schedule Notes: Pediatric coverage includes PICU, General Pediatrics, and NICU.
Pay Rate: 85-$90/hr.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory nursing experience required.
Required Skills: Patient Care, Supervisory Experience, Medication Error Tracking, Counseling, Employee Performance Management.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program.
Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
New York State RN License.
Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
AHA BLS Certification.
Languages

Job Summary
Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance. Monitor patient care performance, assess units with nurse managers, communicate and assist with corrective action, and develop record-keeping systems to track medication errors and counseling.
