Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: November 16, 2026 – February 12, 2027 (13 weeks)
Schedule: 36 hours/week, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week; full-time contract
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; every other weekend; float as needed
Requirements
Required Experience
Clinical competence and experience caring for and managing the target patient population in an inpatient setting.
Ability to provide nursing care to a primarily adult patient population.
Required Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Required Licensure and Certifications
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or an eligible multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.
Required Skills
Nursing theory and practice.
Inpatient nursing care and patient management.
Clinical assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Competency in caring for adult patients.
Ability to float to other units as needed.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of inpatient patients.
Deliver nursing care primarily to adult patients.
Apply professional nursing theory and practice in the inpatient environment.
Demonstrate clinical competence in the care and management of the assigned patient population.
Float to other units as needed while maintaining appropriate standards of nursing care.
