Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Contract: 13+ Weeks, Possible Extension
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts)
Pay: Local: $55/hr on W2
Travel: $2100/Weekly
Job Summary:
The RN – Med-Surg provides safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients through assessment, care planning, medication administration, patient monitoring, and coordination with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients and monitor changes in health status.
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs and report significant changes.
Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions.
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate patient documentation.
Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
Float to other departments within qualifications as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
1+ year of Med-Surg nursing experience within the last 3 years.
Active Single-State or Compact RN License.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
