Job Title: RN Medicine Specialty – FS
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days; 3 × 12-hour shifts/week; 36 hours/week
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex.
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and nursing interventions.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
• Provide competent patient care and communicate care plans with patients and families.
• Educate patients and families regarding hospital procedures and discharge care.
• Make appropriate patient-care referrals and delegate tasks to support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license or valid multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• High-acuity Stepdown experience required.
• Medical-Surgical/Stepdown experience required.
• Tracheostomy care experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Preferences:

• ICU experience preferred.
• BSN or higher preferred.
