Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech)
Location: Moreno Valley, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts + One 8-Hour Shift | Rotating Weekends
Pay Rate: Up to $2107/weekly

Job Summary:

Assist the surgical team by performing scrub duties and supporting perioperative patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, manage surgical instruments, and ensure efficient workflow during surgical procedures while providing safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties during surgical procedures following established operating room protocols.
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Set up and organize the sterile field and back table prior to procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team by anticipating instrumentation and supply needs.
• Ensure proper aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
• Label, prepare, and handle medications and sterile solutions appropriately.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and report malfunctioning surgical equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and maintaining patient safety throughout surgery.
• Document required clinical records and communicate effectively with the surgical team.

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Surgical Technology.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification (if required by state/facility).
• Experience working as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital Operating Room.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.
• Experience with Trauma and Neurosurgery equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
• Experience assisting with Trauma and Neurosurgical procedures.
• Previous hospital Operating Room experience.
