Job Summary
Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, document, and educate patients and their families. Communicates relevant patient and family information effectively with the healthcare team and participates in identifying and implementing solutions to achieve patient care goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a broad range of professional nursing responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Experience with OBIX
- Experience with Epic EMR
Schedule & Additional Information
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule: Every weekend required
- Up to one (1) week of requested time off (RTO) may be approved at the start of the assignment
