Schedule: Day & Night Shifts | 3×12-Hour Shifts (3 Days/Week)
Note: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position.
The Payrate Information:
Overall Weekly Pay: $2,477.48
W2 hourly Pay Rate: $28
Weekly Stipend: $1,469.48
Requirements:
- Experience in Pediatric, NICU, adult ER, and critical care settings required
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Active Washington, DC Respiratory Care License required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
Job Description:
- The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care by prescription of the physician.
- Responsibilities include the diagnostic evaluation (not limited to obtaining and analysing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, and performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system), management, education, and rehabilitation and care of the patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Involves applying advanced technology and evidence-based treatment protocols across all care settings, including but not limited to medical gas administration and monitoring, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilation, artificial airway management, bronchopulmonary hygiene, respiratory pharmacologic therapies, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
