Title: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81501
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shifts: Day Shift – 4 x 10 HR (40 Hours/Week)
Compensation:
Local: $60/hr (W2)
Travel: $2,804/weekly ($1,244 Stipend Included)
Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations under physician direction to assist in the identification of abnormalities and support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams, obtain clinical history, and prepare patients for diagnostic testing
• Review exam quality, ensure accurate imaging, and coordinate documentation for physician interpretation
• Communicate patient information effectively with physicians, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain equipment, stock supplies, assist with patient transport, and support quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
Experience:1 year of experience with Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiography)
On-Call:– Shared call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays (30- response time required)
Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
• RCS (CCI) – Registered Cardiac Sonographer
