Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
Location: Pompton Plains, NJ- 07444
Duration: 14 Week Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 7:00am – 8:00pm + Weekends and Holidays as Needed.
Pay Rate: $63/HOUR-W2
Note: Must be able to circulate and scrub. Ortho, robotics, neuro,
**Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility**
Job Functions:

• Assessment skills. Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately. Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive, and accurate.
• Clinical Skills. Consistently demonstrates competent clinical skills. Performs direct patient care activities in support of patient care delivery and team concept. Provides competent and appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit. Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Documentation. Maintains complete and accurate documentation. Demonstrates knowledge of documentation guidelines. Assumes primary responsibility for documenting components of the nursing process and patient’s progress toward meeting outcomes in the patient’s chart including patient education.
• Unit Specific Job Function. Demonstrates knowledge of the conditions/diagnoses, procedures and equipment encountered for surgical patients. Individualizes patient care according to the procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care. Assesses patient reaction and understanding of procedure/instructions.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing associate or bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years’ experience
• NJ State RN License OR Multi-State Compact License.
• BLS-AHA
• CNOR – Preferred.
