Local Pay: $70/hr. on W2
Shift: Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Outpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality oncology care in an outpatient setting. This role includes supporting bone marrow procedures in CT and delivering patient care while ensuring accurate specimen processing and coordination with the Pathology Lab.
Job Duties

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in the outpatient infusion clinic.
• Support bone marrow procedures in the CT department 1–2 days per week, including specimen collection, slide preparation, labeling, documentation, and transport to the Pathology Lab.
• Collaborate with physicians, interventional radiology staff, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for treatment response and adverse reactions according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with oncology, hospital, and regulatory standards.
• Float between Zion, Otay Mesa, and San Marcos facilities based on operational and patient care needs.

Requirements

• Previous Oncology RN experience with Chemotherapy administration required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) CA License is required
• BLS – Required
• ONS Certification – Required
• Strong knowledge of oncology nursing, specimen handling, infusion therapy, and patient education.
