Job Title- Histology Associate
Location- Tucson, AZ
Duration-12 Months Contract
Onsite position. 1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00pm. OT is available, but not required.
The Opportunity
- Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
- Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
- Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
- Assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue’s while standing throughout the working hours
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Who You Are
• 0–5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices
-well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters
Preferred:
Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification
Previous lab experience preferred
Certification in histotechnology preferred
Education: Highschool diploma or GED is required
Interview: Virtual – one round – 30 mins duration
