Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Local pay: up to $60/hour on w2
Travel Pay Rate: up to $2683/ weekly

Job Description:

Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM and ACOG guidelines.
Perform Level I Anatomy Scans, fetal growth studies, and routine obstetrical and gynecological imaging.
Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures.
Obtain patient history, assess patient needs, and explain examination procedures.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images using M-Mode, Pulse Wave Doppler, and Color Doppler techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation, order entry, and exam tracking in PACS/HIS systems.
Schedule same-day and emergency add-on exams while maintaining workflow efficiency.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and departmental quality standards.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report maintenance needs.
Participate in peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.

Required Experience:

Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience, preferably in a High-Risk OB or Maternal Fetal Medicine setting.
Prior OB and Gynecology scanning experience required.
Must be able to perform Level I Anatomy Scans independently.
Experience performing fetal anatomy, fetal growth, and routine OB/GYN ultrasound examinations.
Experience with M-Mode, Pulse Wave Doppler, Color Doppler, and fetal cross-sectional anatomy.
Familiarity with PACS, structured reporting systems, and HIS.
Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound/Allied Health.
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound) Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN).
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
30 ARDMS Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every 3 years to maintain certification.
