Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 02 months Contract
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8a-8p
Hourly rate: $71/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent MRI technical skills
• 2 years of MRI experience required

Required Education:

• Graduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• New York State License (L.R.T).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols.
• Position patients and coils for optimal image quality.
• Complete MRI safety screening before scanning.
• Evaluate image quality and transmit studies to PACS.
• Document and complete exams in IDX (Radiology Information System).
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and safety.
• Maintain MRI equipment, room cleanliness, and supplies.
• Follow MRI safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist physicians as needed.
