Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Local Pay: $47/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: $1988.79/Weekly (Blended)
Shift: 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift (Between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient clinic. The RN will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care while supporting clinic operations and coordinating follow-up services.
Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during outpatient clinic visits using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Assess patient conditions, communicate changes to providers, and update care plans as needed.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care journey, including discharge and follow-up planning.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Triage non-urgent clinical phone calls and provide appropriate nursing guidance and documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation while adhering to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) PA state or compact state license required.
• Recent 3 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
• Previous outpatient or ambulatory clinic experience required.
