Job Title: RN – Behavioral Medicine
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; full-time. Floating required to Psych.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Make clinical decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Implement and document timely interventions.
• Participate in patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Perform Point-of-Care testing.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI certification or equivalent required; Blue Card preferred.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Behavioral Health/Psych experience required or preferred based on unit needs.

Preferences:

• CPI Blue Card preferred.
• Relevant Behavioral Health/Psych nursing experience.
• Additional nursing education/certifications may support higher clinical ladder placement.
