Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Mid/Evenings: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate:
- Local: $70/hr on W2
- Travel: $3,230/Weekly Gross (Stipend: $1980/Weekly included)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, monitor responses to therapy, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for oncology patients.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment response, and potential complications.
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other oncology-related treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, side effects, and symptom management.
- Monitor laboratory results and communicate significant findings to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Manage IV therapies and provide appropriate central line and vascular access care.
- Recognize and respond promptly to oncologic and other clinical emergencies.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Previous 1 year of oncology nursing experience within last 3 years.
- ONCC or ONS Certificate required.
