Position: HIE Integration Engineer (Data Extraction Specialist)
Location: New York, NY 10017
Duration: 10 Weeks (09/21/2026 – 11/30/2026)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 22–37.5 Hours/Week | 100% Remote
Schedule Notes:

Required Experience:
• Proven experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems, particularly Intersystems.
• Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with Epic Care Everywhere CCD format.
• Experience with OnBase or similar document management systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and temporary Data Extraction Specialist to help extract data from the current Intersystems Health Information Exchange (HIE) system, transform it into the Epic Care Everywhere CCD format, and load it into OnBase. This is a remote, short-term position requiring expertise in HIE systems, data extraction and transformation, and familiarity with Epic CCD formats.
Job Responsibilities:
• Extract data from Intersystems HIE.
• Transform extracted data into Epic Care Everywhere CCD format using CCD.XSLT transformations.
• Load transformed data into OnBase.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the extraction and transformation process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and ensure successful integration.
• Document processes and workflows for future reference.
