Position: RN – MICU

Duration: 10/12/2026 – 01/21/2027 (14 Weeks)

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required. No on-call required. Float to other ICUs, step-down units, or acute care units as needed. Tele testing required during the first week (2 attempts to pass). Level 1 Trauma and recent travel RN experience required.

Requirements

Experience:

• Recent Travel RN experience required.

• Minimum MICU experience required.

• Critical Care float experience preferred.

• Level 1 Trauma experience required.

• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of adult critical care patient populations.

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License.

• AHA BLS Certification.

• AHA ACLS Certification.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. The RN demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult patient population in accordance with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
