Job Summary
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying solutions to variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of appropriate interventions.

Required Skills & Experience
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Telemetry experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cerner experience.
Certifications
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
Position Details
- This is a Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Float position.
- May be required to float to care for ED holds as needed.
- Up to 1 week of RTO (Requested Time Off) will be accepted.
