Schedule: Monday β Friday 8a β 5p. Once or twice a week worker may be asked to work outside of their normal shift schedule, details will be given from the client.
Summary:
This is a key role within Production, and the successful candidate is expected to know and understand the details and intricacies of the complex manufacturing processes, workflows, and details to ensure optimized utilization. The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for organizing, managing, and scheduling workflows to ensure efficient production processes. This role involves coordinating with various departments to meet production goals and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Begin the day with a walkthrough of the production floor.
- Review production execution, operating rooms, and issues related to planning and scheduling.
- Participate in planning, scheduling, adherence, Supply Chain, and Production meetings.
- Review and adjust plans based on information gathered from various functions.
- Work in SAP/MES and make necessary system updates, releases, and plan changes.
- Follow up with Production toward the end of the day to ensure issues are resolved and operations are aligned.
- Serve as a connection point or glue between Supply Chain/Planning and Production Execution.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound and outbound movement of all materials, intermediates, and bulks through the manufacturing facility in coordination with QC, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Production Departments.
- Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials by optimizing work centers and campaign lengths.
- Ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities demand and organizational objectives.
- Materials planning and process planning based on Supply Chain Schedules, RCCP, and S&OP outputs, comparing required materials to those available, supporting the change to production plans to address material availability, analyzing the materials schedule and its effects, ensuring alignment with procurement/material supply, optimizing materials and inventory, tracking changes and adjusting material replenishments, managing materials item master data and relationships with local vendors, and escalating material delays and working with procurement to avoid potential risks.
- Inventory management – Apply inventory planning techniques and tools to optimize finished goods, work in process, and raw and pack material inventory models across locations within service level and item availability Clients, meeting the objectives of the inventory policy while considering working capital Clients.

- Requires BSc, BA, or equivalent in supply chain-related fields.
- PMP or equivalent is preferable.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
- ERP systems, preferably SAP, MES.
- Microsoft Office, Power BI.
- Proper English grammar and punctuation.
