Job Title: RN – Outpatient
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: M-F 8am -4PM
Hourly rate: $52/ hour on W2 Negotiable
Role & Core Clinical Duties
- Patient Care: Delivers evidence-based, relationship-centered nursing care, managing patient needs through assessment, care planning, medication review, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Patient Experience: Conducts purposeful hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, admission welcomes, and discharge wrap-ups while showing empathy and respect for patient values and cultural diversity.
- Quality & Safety: Implements high-reliability principles to eliminate safety hazards, leads/contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and documents care accurately in institutional IT systems.
- Operations & Leadership: Facilitates patient throughput, performs charge nurse duties as assigned, manages supplies efficiently, and escalates resource or staffing deficits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Active New York State (NYS) RN or LPN License.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including 2 years of ambulatory experience.
Preferred Experience
- EMR: Epic software experience highly preferred.
