Title: RN – Oncology (ONC)
Location: San Jose, CA 95119
Duration: 24 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 12X3 (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
Compensation:
Local: $70/hour W2
Travel: $3000/weekly
Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to adult oncology and hematology patients, including treatment administration, clinical monitoring, symptom management, and patient education
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed oncology medications and treatments while monitoring patients for adverse reactions and changes in condition
- Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms while maintaining accurate nursing documentation and safety standards
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, side-effect management, and ongoing care needs
Requirements:
Licensure: Active CA RN License
Certifications: BLS, Oncology Certification
Experience: 1 year Oncology experience as RN within the last 3 years
