Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 40/hours per week
Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient care. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.
Verify patient identification and demographic information before specimen collection.
Label specimens accurately in the patient’s presence and obtain required signatures.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and specimen integrity.
Provide clear explanations of procedures and ensure a positive patient experience.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Complete daily assignments accurately and on time while following company policies.
Work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Travel between patient service centers and physician offices as required.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Strong venipuncture and specimen-handling skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Basic keyboarding and data-entry skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established procedures.
