Position: Surgical Technologist II
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: November 9, 2026 – February 11, 2027 (13 weeks and 4 days)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 10 hours/day, 4 days/week;
Shift: Second shift; Monday daytime/evening schedule, with Wednesday–Friday call coverage
Requirements
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Required Education
High school diploma or GED, plus one of the following:
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program.
Completion of a military training program as an Operating Room Specialist.
Completion of a Client-sponsored Apprentice II program.
Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Required Certifications
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.
Required Skills
Surgical patient care, surgical procedures, collaboration with peers, and decision-making related to surgical patient care.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care and support patient care goals.
Perform procedures across a variety of specialties, applying the required knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
