Job Title: RN – ICU
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 2 months Contract
Schedule: 7:00A – 7:30P (EOW + 4th Shift Per Month) ** MUST HAVE 2 YRS MIN OF ED EXP*
Hourly rate: $58/ hour on W2 Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, evidence-based patient care.
- Assess patients and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge planning.
- Conduct hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC.
- Follow patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention protocols.
- Support patient flow, resource utilization, and charge nurse duties as assigned.
License: Active New York State RN License
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Critical Care: Minimum 2 years of experience in highly acute ICUs
Required Experience: Critical Care with Rapid Response Team experience
Preferred Skill: Ultrasound-guided IV insertion
EHR: EPIC experience
Unit Census: Average 8 patients
Unit Capacity: 8 beds
Staffing Ratio: 1:2
