Job Title: RN – Psych/Bridge to Home
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Duration: 3+ months with possible extensions
Start Date: 11/23/2026
Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 4 days/week | Day Shift
Schedule 10 hrs./day | 40 hrs./week

Local Pay Range – $70/hr. – $75/hr.
Travel Pay Range: $2800 – $2900/week
Notes: Special Project – Bridge to Home | Patient care and outreach for individuals with serious mental illness who need temporary housing after hospital discharge | No on-call required.
License/Certification:
- Valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License with current registration
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, or another nursing degree recognized by NYSED, for nurses licensed on or after July 1, 2020, as applicable.
Skills:
Experience caring for people with experiences of homelessness, mental illness (including substance use disorders) or justice involvement strongly preferred. If there is no prior substantial experience, candidate should possess a strong desire to learn and care for this population
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of hospital experience
- Wound care experience
- Experience with naloxone (Narcan) administration and patient education desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits sensitivity to the needs of a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population
