Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Long Island City, NY
Duration: 2 months Contract
Schedule: 4pm to 12am (every other weekend).
Hourly rate: $62/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Job Summary

• Operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and educate patients before procedures.
• Operate X-ray equipment and adjust exposure settings.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and make necessary adjustments.
• Document patient care and complete exam records accurately.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Maintain radiology supplies and a clean, safe work environment.
• Stay current with required CME and regulatory requirements.
• Complete annual Age-Specific Competency.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required Education:

• Graduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Requirements

• New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Required).
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
